6th graders are working on their Stitched Culture project. They picked a culture, other than American, and learned a little bit about it. Then they picked a symbol or group of symbols to represent that culture. After drawing their design on cardboard and adding color, students learned how to embroider the areas they wanted to emphasize. Check out some awesome examples below.
