Hey 5th grade Rockets! If you are done with both your Art to Remember project and your Artist Journal cover design, then I've got a challenge for you. We just studied five of the Elements of Design: line, shape, color, value, and texture, but we haven't yet talked about the final frontier: SPACE! Okay, it's not really all about galaxies and stars, but SPACE is an important part of how we make and see ART. Check out the video below. When you're finished, get your journal and write down your favorite artwork you saw in the video. Then draw your own artwork showing space. How will you use SPACE in your ART?
