Sixth graders are currently using pattern and emphasis to create a colorful design for their artist journal covers. Students looked at the art of Kehinde Wiley before picking an object to represent their identity. That object then begins to stand out as they surround it with colorful patterns using some of the color schemes from the color wheel. Enough, talk, check out their awesome work so far!
